We're looking for experienced carers to join our team. Earn from £735 to £929 per week with generous breaks and lots of support from your team.

We pay from £735 - £929 per week based on the level of care that is needed for your client. 

We provide 4 levels of live-in care, from level 1 light support and companionship, through to level 4 complex care in the home. Our 4 pay bands match the level of care and the experience needed to support each client.

Take more breaks with Oxford Aunts. With 26hrs of breaks each week, on average, thats 12hrs more break time per week than if you worked for some other providers!

Your job interview

Once you've passed the questionnaire, you'll be invited to a video call interview with a recruiter who will answer any questions you have about the role.

If we think you'll be a brilliant live-in carer, we'll start your compliance process and invite you to attend our training! Before your training place can be confirmed we will need to gain employment and character references, as well as completing all relevant police checks (DBS and overseas if applicable).

What do live-in carers do?

Our four day induction training takes place in Oxfordshire. We will organise your accommodation in one of our carer properties and provide tasty lunches.  Please note, there will be assessments during the week that you will need to pass, but our training team is here to guide you throughout the week.

We pay up to £868 per week for live-in carers.

Flexible working

As a live-in carer, you'll live with your client for a number of weeks at a time with time.

  • Stay with your client for up to and beyond 10 weeks.
  • Following a client’s individual care plan you will generally provide a daily average of 10 hours care provision to your client, depending on their needs.
  • You will have a 3 hour break each day and an extended 8 hour break each week once you have been in placement for a fortnight.
  • If your client can’t be left alone during your break, cover will be arranged, we call this relief care.
  • If your client needs regular care through the night, relief care will be arranged to avoid disrupting your sleep. 
  • Your wellbeing will always be considered and supported as well as your clients.
